Here's a quick snapshot of 18 years building 3 businesses, publishing 7 books, launching a top 2% global podcast, and coaching 100s of small business owners — so you can see what's worth asking.
May 2008: Started writing corporate newsletters in nap times to 'keep my hand in' before returning to my corporate job.
October 2008: Hit 6-figures. No longer just writing newsletters, but articles, speeches and developing internal and change communication strategies.
April 2014: Faced burn-out. Started looking for an alternative plan.
June 2014: Started a Network Marketing business for fun - first time selling products, not services. Steep learning curve!
Feb 2016: Co-founded the Swiss-Riviera Toastmasters Club.
Jan 2018: Reached a significant milestone in my business and quit. It made me see it was great, but not 100% aligned with my vision.
Feb 2018: Launched my current business and the 'Value Whispering Blueprint', to help small business owners and solopreneurs attract more clients with a message that resonates deeply and marketing that feels good and gets results.
March 2020: Launched my podcast, the Driven Female Entrepreneur.
Oct 2020: Certified as a Mindset Coach
January 2021: Launched the Dream Clients Academy membership.
April 2023: Closed the Dream Clients Academy.
January 2024: Rebranded my business, including my podcast, around the concept of 'Value Whispering'.
October 2024: Gave a TEDx Talk: An Introverts Guide to Having Quiet Impact.
January 2026: Published my book: Value Whispering, the Smarter Way to Market Your Small Business ... that just happens to be brilliant for introverts. It became an Amazon best-seller in just over 24 hours.
February 2026: Published my 300th podcast episode, featuring the wonderful Andrew and Pete, founders of Atomicon.
